Valley Forge Sewer Authority (VFSA) is ready to assist you though the process of a new connection and/or sewer extension to our system.
All new connections and/or sewer extensions in East Pikeland, Schuylkill, and Charlestown Townships are received, processed, reviewed, and inspected by VFSA engineering staff.
Each new connection/extension is unique and may require involvement from other regulatory or local government agencies in addition to VFSA. It is the owner’s responsibility to receive PADEP, Township and VFSA approvals to connect to the public sewer and to prepare a design for the lateral and/or extension installation in compliance with VFSA specifications (PDF). Prior to installation, a VFSA Sewer Connection Permit (PDF) must be obtained through the Authority. The owner is responsible for all costs involved including the payment of fees and for the work of the contractor involved in connecting to the VFSA sanitary sewer.
